~Awakeri School~

~Touch Tournament 2013~
On April 11th, we had lots of teams at school for the Rangitaiki Touch Tournament.

Lucille is dummy half, she is going to pass the ball, against Thornton.	Chassidy reaches out a long way to touch the tricky Te Teko player.
Shayna rolls the ball to Jana. Behind them Corissa might be doing a haka, or she might be saying "Pass me the ball" Logan is watching the game on the next field, so they'd better not pass him the ball!	Linette comes racing in to touch the Te Teko player who is ducking and diving to avoid Brianna as well.
Kaya has eyes on the ball to make sure he catches this pass. Referee Miss CT is watching closely as well.	No Robbie, its not rugby, you can't grab the ball off him! Nicole tries to get back on side. The referee (in red) is from Edgecumbe College. The College were very helpful, providing seven refs to help out. We had 15 fields running non stop, so lots of refs were needed, including a lot of Awakeri senior students too.
