Lovely weather, a big crowd and plenty of money was raised! Waimana School were the winners, while Awakeri came second in the senior section behind Kawerau Intermediate. The Edgecumbe cheerleaders were the best.

What a handsome bunch the Top School team are. Back: Amy Wright, Ben McPherson, Emma Searle, Kakara Ratema Middle: Whitney Haddock, Sytse Tacoma, Kelly Stanton, Gina Greenwood, Hayden Te Moana Front: Jono Whitaker (reserve), Paula Roberts (reserve), Jordan Macdonald.	Jordan is guarding his bucket of water while Whitney is poling us along in the magic carpet ride. Here is Emma with her drum, getting ready to put it in place.
Don't fall over guys, we will have to start again.	Here is Kelly flying around in the stitch in time. "Slow down Ben!"
Here is Hayden showing his best side.	Here is Ben dragging everyone around the Stitch in Time course at his own speed. We had to run hard for ten minutes, but we won this event.
Yum Yum I want some of this magnificent hangi. The food has been cooked under ground and here they are pulling it up.	Awakeri cheerleaders Kathryn Quayle, Samantha Glossop and Kate McConway work as hard as the team.
Here is Kelly flying high in the sky on the Up Up and Away course. Kelly has to throw a ball into the bucket from the flying fox, then she gets pulled back to the other end to be thrown another ball and try again. YOU GO GIRL!!!	Here are our sexy mascots Troy and James. Troy is very keen all dressed up but James looks not so keen. Troy came all the way back from high school to join the cheerleaders!
