Edgar's stoat trap made of recycled materials won him the technology section of Science Fair.Sam's nana had a problem getting her dog into the car, so Sam developed his Buster Booster. It also won him second place in technology.
Ezra invented beads to help people with dyslexia spell words.Holly and Aroha won the science section with a great project on comparing plastic bags made with recycled materials.
Luisa came second in science by finding out what recycled water would help your bean plants grow best. Save your bath water everyone!Toby investigated thermal mugs thoroughly and came 3rd.
Georgia's paper plane project got her second place in the Yr 7 projects.Shane's catapult project got him first in the Yr 7 technology project section.
Ravneet was 2nd in technology and Karaitiana was 3rd in Yr 7 science.
Here's Logynn receiving her highly commended in Yr 7 science.While Vincent's slingshot earned him highly commended in technology. His nana can throw it 62 metres!
And the winners are . . . . . . . . . Aroha and Holly!! They also won a cool travel bag from Fonterra and book vouchers.Edgar receiving the technology trophy from Mr Fitz. He also won a back pack from Fonterra and book vouchers.
