Abbey with her winning science entry. She is holding her very popular leaflets explaining how to boil and egg perfectly. Shane invented the wheelie bin lid weight you can see behind him.
Kelsey and Briar can talk and charm their way into most things, but here it was their science work that won the prize. Kara created a very useful clothes drier, very helpful on farms in the winter and calving season.
Jennifer's calf sling won the technology prize. Jarrod don't take the lid off that old milk please! Jarrod tested milk samples to see what type of milk retained its quailty the best.
Here is Daniel with his excellent entry. Judge Peter Hsiung from CHH Tasman is impressed. Brianna's jewellery made from recycled materials was spectacular. She won the Project prize and had lots of people impressed with her work. Here's Mr Fitz and Mr Hawkes handing over her prize.
First in science 2009.......... A b b e y Patterson! First in technology. Jenny Cram.
