Some of the year 7s and C Block's year 6s entered the Project section. These people did really well: Rachael Griffen (Recycled Clothing); Kurt Turpie, Samuel Burgess, Jarrod Butler, Jasmine Hope (all Land Yachts); Carrie Fynn, Chris Walker, Jamaine Palmer (Science topics)

Zoe and Meron seemed shocked to find they'd won! Zoe took the afternoon off to recover! Ben was their equal! Equal first science, though he could have done just as well in the technology section with his crazy magnet riding cars.
A very practical idea got Alex first place in technology. The farmers should be queuing up to buy this one. Want to find a long lasting soap? No, not Shortland Street! Just ask Zara.
Christine and Kelli took their 2006 idea some stages further and got 3rd place! Emma has been eating lots of apples! No doctors around here!
Jemma tested people's responses to different types of music. She tested their heart rates while listening. Mr H reckoned she needed the Rolling Stones to raise his heart rate! Joel's healthy growing plants proved his conclusions.
In the Yr 7 projects, Rachael designed and made this beautiful outfit from material recycled from old clothes. She even took apart a wedding dress to get the fancy bits! Clive's work on batteries was very impressive.
Alex with his Technology trophy! Our science winners Zoe, Meron and Ben

Meron is proud!!
