Liz Moore won the Awakeri Science Fair with this fantastic effort on the antibiotic powers of harakeke (flax)	Paula Roberts came second in the Science section
Gena Law's investigation of memory styles won her 3rd place.	Michelle Power won the Technology section with her working model of a cat feeder.
Sytse Tacoma came second in the Technology section. He developed a smoke alarm for deaf people. If there was a fire, the person's bed vibrated and there was a flickering light.
