Awakeri School

Room 10 camp at Papamoa 2010

Devon is sitting in the Sabre. It was used as a war plane. Felicia is turning a radial engine. Hope it doesn't start up!
This is the Armstrong Whitworth turret. Braden is in it. If he pushes with his feet, it will turn around. Justin and Christian have built a straw tower at camp.
Pink buns for morning tea, from Kev's Place. This group is making their bread rolls. Kev gave them the dough. Keely, Georgia, Elana and Alex look happy with their work.
Another group! Oliver has a dough smile!! Elana is being fussy, her bread roll wasn't perfect!! Elana, Kendra and Georgia are enjoying themselves at Bay Wave. The wave pool is like the ocean, because the waves are very strong, and hard to stand up in.
Amelia is in the sprinklers at Bay Wave. Sharni and Hayley are floating on the noodles in the wave pool. Some people went down the deep end and floated on the waves. Lots of fun!
We are in the kiwifruit orchard. These are the only fruit left on the vines. The rest have been picked and packed. This is one of the kiwifruit packing buildings. There were kiwifruit coming down the closest conveyor. They dropped onto the sideways conveyors, ready to be packed.

This is the back carriage of the kiwi carts. We went on a tour in the carts and we stopped at places like the orchard, the pack house, etc.
We are all at the meeting place at camp. This is on the last day. We were sad to leave, we'd had a great time!
