Awakeri
School
Open Day
Monday 30 October
An Invitation
Awakeri School invites all parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, ex
staff, ex-pupils, prospective parents, or any interested person to visit
us.
Monday 30th October 2006 between 10am and
1.20pm.
An opportunity to browse through the rooms
and around the school to see what has happened and what is happening.
The children will be carrying out a normal days programme, (as normal
as we can make it with visitors in the rooms) and you are welcome to
go into all the rooms.
As it is a teaching day, please do not feel offended if staff find it
hard to discuss anything with you as they will be busy teaching.
There will be senior children at the entrance who will be able to guide
you to where you wish to go.
During the day we have arranged three information sessions for you in
the staff room. These will go for about 10-15 minutes with an opportunity
for you to ask questions afterwards.
Please feel free to join the staff for morning tea, share your lunch
with your children, and to join in with their games.
