Awakeri Olympics

2012

Awakeri School had our own Olympic Day. Everyone was in a country. We marched in to the national anthems. Felicia, Sammy and Arko lead in Brazil.	Flags, signs and greetings.
France ended up being our gold medalists on the day.	Lila is Canadian for a day.
Tiaan Roia sang beautifully to get the day started.	Kodi Bramley ran in with the Olympic flame.
Mr Fitz, with the World Champs Kids Lits Quiz team, who read the athletes oath. With them is the main organiser, Mr Sheather.	Now for the games....The people carry game: The Dutchies ... Savannah carries Ethan
Arko carries his sister Renske. She's enjoying the ride!	We had egg and spoon races.
Sack Races, etc.	At the end of the day were the relays. Jacob Davis is flying down the track.
