Tama Waipara came to visit school, to work with five students who quickly formed into a group, Twisted Mindz...
It was a brilliant two days, thanks Tama!

This is Tama, he plays the clarinet, guitar and he sings too. He's from this area, he was born in Opotiki and went to Whakatane High School.	Elaine is playing the guitar and singing harmony. Toby is the trumpet player. Tama is helping the guitarists by playing along too. The group's name is called 'Twisted Mindz' and their first song is called Confused. Scroll down for the lyrics. They're not copywrite (yet!)
"... Because I like you, but I hate you..." Rachael is harmonising in the chorus and playing the guitar at the same time.	Elaine had some cool ideas for the lyrics '...Your clothes are so my style..." She also had some other ideas that didn't make the final cut!
Zac is our enthusiastic drummer!! This is his first time playing 'Confused' with the full drum kit.	On Friday they had a practice with mics, amplified guitars and a full drum kit. They performed two times in front of the school that afternoon.
First they brainstormed possible ideas to write about. They decided to write about something important to them like, friends, family, love etc. They decided to go for family and it ended up about their sometimes annoying brothers and sisters.	This is Brylee the lead singer. She looks like she's having a fun time!
