Maths Celebration Day July 31 2014

Our senior maths extension students put together an awesome Maths Celebration Day for the senior syndicate. Isaiah, Jake, Ethan, Tylah and Nakisha are having fun working out a Fermi problem, set by Callum and Finn. How many toilets rolls would be used in an average week in Whakatane?!	Maths Twister was organised by Adele and Emily R. This is Group 12 , who ended up winning overall. Caleb is on three answers, what's next?
Kevin and Cambell organised the water balloon challenge. Groups had to make a box to carry the balloon, then carry it, not using their hands or feet. Tara is getting Kyzarck ready to carry the balloon.	Jenae's group are making more boxes.
Stacie finds a clue / problem in the activity organised by Alex and Juliet.	Lucy and Taryn are working hard to solve the problem at Meadow and Katie's activity.
