Kapa Haka 2011
Dress rehearsal and then performance....

Uniforms piupiu Himene Molly Bradley
Nicole and Rylee were excited to put the kapa haka uniforms on. We start the concert to parents at the end of the intensive. Molly Bradley sings the lead bits for the himene to start things off. The audience was overflowing out into the hall way!!
Rakau poi
Now the girls are ready to do the rakau. Pai mai! Now it's the poi.

The older girls do the poi. Go Lauren, Lucille and Kayleigh! Haka time! Korben, Lance, Tawari, Liam, Liam and Arko.
Ti rakau
Now we're on stage at the Little Theatre. Molly leads the group in a beautiful opening song, a hymn "E Ihowa" Molly is wearing a cool cloak that Siri has been busy making. The younger girls get into the rakau, to the song Pa Mai.
Poi
The older girls are up the front now, doing their poi medley. The girls concentrate on their poi work.
Amelia, Lauren and Sharnaye are in the front row this time. Now the boys are into their haka. Good stance boys.
Liam the leader, with Liam in the front. Nice pukana from the gilrs behind as well - Sarah and Jenna. Lance and Tawari "kei mate aue..."
