Year 7 & 8 Intensive 2017

 

The year sevens are in teams, building a stretcher to carry an injured person out of the bush. Sophie, Josh and Ella are holding Maddison up while Jamie fixes the stretcher.	Mia, Fearghus, Rhys and Skylar keep their injured twin on board. Lie down Olivia!
Elijah is carried out of the bush by his trusty team: Issy, Shaun, Shivaun... hang on, Ollie has a better idea!	The year 7s and 6s were then working with younger children for the rest of the morning, being leaders. Celeste reads to her two juniors.
Jade has her pupil well involved.	Kennedy has his two pupils keen.
Olivia has found a cool spot to read to her youngster.	Caleb and Charlie make up a game to play with their juniors. Fun for everyone!
Dylan, Shaun and Marqus have piggy back races with their juniors.	Mia and friends organise a game.
Now the year sevens are planning their year as house leaders. They had to design new house flags, signs and chants to teacher their houses at the start of the new year. Shivaun is working on the best house's flag!	Londie, Brodi and Skylar make a good job of Rimu's flag.
Kalib and Frank can even paint upside down!	On the Friday the year sevens all went to Thornton for more team building activities
Passing a hoop around the team needs good communication.	Have You Ever? Everyone tries to get a hoop.
Have you ever.... been to Thornton?	Sophie's team and Olivia's team hard at work trying to get themselves across the dangerous land.
Gumboot challenge. Sophie carries Teigan and Myles to safety. Lucky she's strong!	Mia has a tricky problem! The rest of the team enjoy it!
Marshall has the same problem!	Dan looks like he might be about to lose his passengers Bonnie and Fearghus!
Londie looks like she's managing her passengers very well	Meanwhile some of the year eights are at the skatepark to start with. Cody Hall lands a nice jump out of the bowl.
Sam, Ayla, Cate and Joel make up a game of volleyball in the bowl!	Cody gets bored and decides to start flax jumping and flipping. The others are impressed and have a try too.

	Action at the skate park. Sorry, no photos from the pa site or the golf course, then the year eights all joined the year sevens at Thornton for a swim. A cool end to two awesome days.
