Year 7 & 8 Intensive 2008

On Thursday we had leadership training for next year's year 8s. Here's Abbey reading a book to her juniors.	Nikki has her little five year olds entranced!
Shjara is enjoying her reading.	Taylah must be reading a good book. Her juniors are totally absorbed.
Samuel, Isaac, Rico and Zac are playing Duck Duck Goose. Is Rico the goose?	Olivia, Shjara and Jennifer are playing Red Light Green Light. Run litlle kids, run!
Shane and Blake have got their group playing well too.	Meanwhile, on the Thursday, the year 8s went to Mount Maunganui and Tauranga. Here's some indoor netball action.
Here are Adrian and Vanessa on their ten pin bowling lanes.	Morgan got 79 points, she was second in her group.
Now we're onto the Friday. The year 7s went to Barrs' Farm and did team building exercises. In this game, the team has to get all its members over the fence without touching the ground.	Meanwhile, the year eights could choose to play golf or go to the skate park and pa site. Here's Alex learning to drop into the bowl! Ouch!
Anelies had made her own skate bowl vehicle. Shannon decided to tag along.	Meanwhile, Britt had a go at flying in the bowl.
Lily ascends by sliding up.....	Vanessa does her Statue of Liberty impression.
Elaine enjoys just hanging around playing the guitar...	Miss Robb joins in the hanging around on the playground nearby!
Then the year eights are off to Tauwhare Pa. Here are room 14 about to storm the pa site, which room 12 are defending. Matthew and Kasey look all fired up!	Matthew sends his troops off.
The battle is on! Adrian and Kayne are trying to get into the safe areas. Mrs West is OK at the moment, but she did have a nasty collision with Alicia!	Miss Robb holds her arms up in victory. Jamie is making sure that Room 14 is following the rules.
Now everyone meets at the Awakeri Hot Springs. Some people just carry on the battles! Eh Jamaine!	Jesse and co try to do balancing acts on top of people who don't stay still for long. It looks like Caleb is lining up a tennis ball shot. Watch out Jesse!
