~AWAKERI SCHOOL~

Fancy Dress 2008
15th December

Caroline Paulsen looks magical in her genie costume. Briar, Kelsey and Kara are stunning pink ladies!
Shannon and Britt practise for having to wear uniforms next year by wearing army gear. Super Tiopira! Watch out for the devil behind you Tio!
Who is this!? It's Fiona, amazing but true. Oliver, where did you get those coconuts?!
Angela (Miss Taggart) and her class wait for their items to come up. Organiser Mrs Elliot and her team of reindeer, the junior teachers.... well you know Dasher and Dancer and Donner and Blitzen...they're waiting for Rudolf to appear!
Mrs Gordon is one of the Golden Girls, but Mrs Shaw is one of the senior hippies! Here are the juniors doing one of their raps. Cool props!
Now the middle school are doing a jump jam. The juniors and seniors wait their turns again.
It's getting near the end. These year eights are waiting to receive their leaving certificates. What will the teachers say about them?! Jaime, Jonas, Anelies, Emma (she got a mention for doctoring up the staff photo!) Rory was remembered for his musical talents. Look, he even came as Jimi Hendrix!
Mrs Merry got to say some things about her lovely departing students. All those memories... Mr Hawkes said his bit too. "I'll remember Shannon for her great dramatic skills...I'll remember Brittany for being a wonderful leader and directing the class movie..."
Quest Tipping won a trophy for being the best all round athlete. Finally the Principal's Award was announced. The winners were Renko Barkema, Jasmine Hope and Hannah Gooch
