The rain stopped and cross country was on! The houses get in position, flags and signs ready, shirt colours on. The runners for the first race gather in the background.	And the 12 and 13 year old boys are off. The eventual winner and runner up Cody Hall and Tawha Davis are on the left. They had a good battle.
The houses all watch them run up the school field before heading out the gates and round the stop banks, through the orchard, before coming back into school.	Next up the senior girls. Happy faces!
Coming through the orchard, Ayla Rowe has a good lead in the girls race.	Near the finish now. Sammy Neale crosses the stile back into the school grounds.
Vinnie and Jake had a good sprint finish in their race.	The 6 year old boys turn through the football goal, watched by all the rest of the school.
Now it's the girls race. House colours are easily spotted.	Rimu are having a good day.
Determination to win as Elijah and Jake sprint for the line.	Teigan Nolan had a good lead as she nears the finish line for the 10 and 11 year old girls.
Issy Lambert kept the pressure on Bonnie-Marie in the home straight.	Eye contact in the final sprint for the 6 year old boys! A big crowd of parents & grandparents were there to watch.
Go girls!	Mrs Howard did a great job of organising the day. She congratulated Teigan for breaking a record.
The five year old boys are going to have fun.	The final age groups are under way. A very competitive group of boys....
Right down to the finish. Ben leads Archie and Kobi in the sprint.	Go Rata!!
