Cross country was a very colourful occasion. Here is Tawa House showing that blue is the best colour!	Meanwhile, in Kowhai, these two yellow bees, Kelsey and Briar caught the eye.

Let's get on to the racing. Here is the five year old boys race coming in to the finish. Jarrod Hall is just showing them the course, he's not really five!	The house colours show out around the stop bank in the 10 and 11 year old race. Ben Murphy is in front of Dylan Hoefsloot and Jaydon Inwood.

David Klein Ovink and Shayne Fortune have a good tussle in the 12 and 13 yr boys.	Meanwhile, back at school, Emily Graham is helping the 5 year old girls get to the finish line. There were lots and lots of parents there watching too.

Quest Tipping set a new record for the 8 & 9 yr boys. Maybe he flew round the course, his feet aren't even touching the ground! PJ Bolton came second, it was his first day at Awakeri School!	Here's Samantha Looney on her way to setting a new record for the girls. Lauren Hall and Mikayla chase her round the stream.

Samuel Burgess smashed the old record held by Taylah Bateson, by 1 minute and 3 seconds!!	The finish line at last! Abbey Patterson beat the buzzy bee Kelsey to win the senior girls race.
