Lachlan Butler and Caden Laurent were some of the many determined runners in the open 1500metres to start the sports.	Here are the placegetters. Kaya Hodson, Jack Du Toit, Kevin Paulsen (1st by a nose), Emily Julian, Jana Longney and Jenae Brownless (1st).

	Katie Mahy had a great athletics week, winning every event in her age group.
