Later in the relays, Kevin almost nabbed first place in the 9 year olds for Awakeri. He caught up four people and within a few centimetres of winning it.
The 10 year old team: Emily, Linette, Tawari and Callum came first!
Korben Jana, Emily and Linette
This is Korben leading his 400 metre heat. The top three got through to the final. Korben came third in the final, so he got a ribbon. This is a very close battle in the 100 metre sprint final. It was Awakeri 1st, 2nd and 3rd! Linette got this one, with Emily and Jana close behind. You can see their ribbons. Emily ended up with nine ribbons! I reckon they are just to slow down the fast people!
