Awakeri School

Ag Day 2014

The day before Ag Day, all the school prepares their indoor show entries. Cody, Kevin and Ethan are trying to get the air bubbles out of their aqua jars. It's not easy! Corbin is hot glueing his novelty animal together. Corbin had the disadvantage of being in a wheelchair but he coped well.
Jadyn has made a nice job of her flower arrangement in a novelty container. Poppy's aqua jar! Are the petals touching the sides? Sadly, yes! And she has dyed her fingers blue!
Now to the day itself... Jon and his handsome calf are getting ready to compete. Tylar and his calf had success in the beef breed calves.
In the dogs section, Isaiah looks right at home with his dog. Keighly's dog looks admiringly at her.
These kids and their kids are ready to go into the ring. Linette won quite a few ribbons with her kid.
Ryan and lamb are good friends. Sophie has a very cuddly looking lamb.
There were lots of different pets in the pets section. Rabbits were one of the few allowed out of their cages! Charli's rabbit enjoys some freedom. Matthew had a good day with his pet rabbit.
Lots of people won ribbons, cups, tropies and prizes. Olivia Sheaff won the supreme champion calf. Is that her sister Sarah trying to sneak off with the cup?? At the end of the day there was a grand parade. Here are some of the lambs and kids.
