Awakeri School

Ag Day 2011

Bailey Carter and Ashleigh T-W Jenna Wilson
Bailey Carter and Ashleigh Tucker-Witehira are busy working on their indoor show exhibits. This one is 'flowers in a novelty container'. Jenna Wilson concentrates on her entry too.
In the Events Centre are all the indoor displays, including the baking sections.. This cake is well suited to the RWC that is happening at the moment. Meanwhile, out in the field, Gus Olifiers and Brady Niven are waiting their turn in the calf rings with their calves Lily and Daisy.
Ryann and Lilly did well with their calves. Here they are being judged in the ring. Pluto munches on Renske Brabant-Weitkamp's hair. Renske doesn't mind!
Blossom and Sarah Sheaff did well, They were champions in leading Kayleigh Clarke and her calf Bully. Bully always had fights with the other cows, but he was still lovely in Kayleigh's eyes!
Charlotte Paulsen with her lamb Coco. Coco was really wild at first but in the end, she got 'reserve champion' in calling! Elijah Wetting-Davidson with his lamb.
The kids had to do an obstacle course. Corisa Johnston is trying to get her kid Emma to go over the jump. Emma is thinking "I don't want to go over these jumps!" She still managed to get two ribbons and a trophy for best reared. Minty liked to eat lots of things, tags, hair, anything belonging to Jessie Schuler in fact! Minty was Supreme Champion as well!
Jordan
Jordan Andrew "would have won the obstacle course" if his blue heeler Jabu hadn't slipped his colour!! Georgia Robinson Kearns leads her Maltese cross over the obstacle course.
Molly Bradley
Molly Bradley won the obstacle course with her agile little dog. Tom Holani and Rocky are enjoying the day.
