Rooms 10, 11, and 12 Science Trip to Otarawairere Bay
March 2006

We had a great day at Otarawairere Bay. The groups spread out to compare the low tide pools with the high tide ones.	Kate Eggleton accidentally fell in, so she measured the depth of her pool very accurately!
Alex Christensen spotted this octopus, the first of three in the low tide pools. It chased the little fish around the pool.	Mr Van der Wouden picked up the second one so we could all have a look. It didn't stay in the ice cream container long!
