Cody Hall is the narrator. Princess Jasmine is delightfully played by Alex Robbie.
The English explorers Feathersham and Merrill are well played by Codi Laurent and Tayla Jones. The guards are throwing them into prison. The Prince tries to reason with the explorers.
The sorceress scares the prince and his guards but Tessa has a bag of money to try and get her to help. The prisoners. Rheet sings her lines of their song.
Mr Warehouse (Jamie Julian) can sell you anything, including the Mona Lisa! Prince Abcess (Ben White), the Caliph (Reaf Bruce) and the evil queen (Luella owe) planning their schemes.
The prince of Araby wants to lead the revolution, but the two guards (Tessa Dodson and Lilly Du Toit) make fun of him and everyone else! The finale of the dress rehearsal. In the orchestra pit Mr Hawkes and George Hannah keep the music together, along with Dave Smith on bass and seven percussionists.
Now its a performance. People are busy behind the scenes and in the green room. Miss Duncan puts on Amber's make-up. The kapa haka opens the show. Ella Forbes is out the front of the Putauaki waiata.
The boys do really well in the haka. Nice pukana Addison!
Ranui Maui-Peck led the boys. The flutes were next on. Keeley Lawton introduces their pirate items.
Three of the flautists: Amelie Clements, Emily Robbie and Theresa Klaasen. The trader (Paige Carter) brings his (her) collection of servant girls to meet Ali Barber (Jana Longney) and Sinbad (Jake Rowlings).
Sinbad, Abcess and the Queen. Ryann Kelly is the Lost Legionnaire. She sings beautifully!
Lucy Knott is a travelling drummer. She got the juniors all clapping along with her. Alex sings Desert Moon, with backing from the thieves, Ali and Sinbad.
The finale. Performance over. What score will Mr Fitz give this one?!
