Back stage, here's Horriff leader Anelies Duffy getting made up
by Mrs Sheather. It was actually Mrs Sheather's last day at Awakeri
too. Thanks Mrs S! |
It's not all fun and games out the back. Shannon Mower is not
enjoying getting her hair teased by Mitch Bradley, but it was worth
it. Shannon looked great as the evil dictator Odium. |
|
|
First up were the kapa haka. Here's the red lights, before the
ultra violet kicks in on the poi. |
The Space Pirates are the good guys. Kurt Turpie is their leader.
Rock it and a roll it girls! |
|
|
Kurt, Captain Sanderson, had trouble keeping his loud sergeant,
Hamish Inwood, under control! |
The baddie, Odium, with traitor Dr Sneech (Nicholas Baker) and
the ruler of the planet Zodark Cosmo (Carrie Fynn). Look at Shannon's
hair now! |
|
|
Here come the Horriffs, they're misunderstood monsters. Racheal
Griffen sings for them. |
Ethan Vincent gets into the Horriffs' dance! |
|
|
The Zodarks enjoy some entertainments! Bring on the dancing girls!
Here are the Star Trekkers. |
The 'Up Town Girls' did their dance too, Mark, Alex and Tyler
show their moves. |
|
|
Nicholas also doubled as an entertainer. His juggling act was
great. |
The Up Town Girls had their own curtain calls, Jesse made the
most of his one! |
|
|
Odium is finally brought down to size! Stripped of his power and
his cloak. Captain of the Guard Kelsey Haddock leaves him behind. |
Suddenly, everyone is friendly. Guard Rory MacGregor decides he
likes the look of space pirate Jaime Clarke! |
|
|
Space pirate Emily Graham says she's seen some heavenly bodies
on this trip! Ari Wilson-Porter is happy to be involved. |
Suddenly it's the finale, Star Blaze. We're flying high.... You
can just see where the orchestra and choir make their music from.
Can you hear Kirsty's violin and Karis's and Louise's flutes? or
Toby's and Zac's drumming? It was cool! |
