From Monday to Friday it was gymnastics week. On Wednesday we made up a routine with two people in a group. Today we showed them in front of room 11 and Mrs Shaw picked about 4 groups from our class to show in front of the whole school. They were Kasey and Jasmine who is from Rm12, Hannah and Anelies, Jimikah and Carrie and Jaime doing it by her self. Here are some of Rm 11 doing gymnastics.

Jimikah is doing a cartwheel in air over Carrie.
Jaime is spinning a hula hoop on her arm while walking on the beam.
Hannah and Anelies are about to do a roll.

October 26 scroll down to read what we thought about Ag Day.

11 Thursday October 2007

On Tuesdays when half of the class was at tech the other half did art work with Mrs Laurent. You had to draw a main picture of some thing you did in the hoildays and shade it in. In the background you had to draw other things you did in the holiday around the main picture.

3nd September 2007

We are starting to do our calendar art with Mr. Sheather on the computer. We use our own faces and can do funny things with them like spinning your face and colouring you in. On Tuesdays we are doing Theatre Technology, while half of the class is at Technology in Edgecumbe.

August 22nd 2007

In room 11 we are starting to work on the school production. We have some people in here that have a speaking part. Shannon Mower is Miss Scow. 20th June 2007

Mrs Shaw has started to read us the book "Restless Spirit" By Susan Brocker. It's about this Kaimanawa stallion that loses his mother and as the years go by he grows up to be a strong stallion.
Last Friday we had Mrs Laurent and she does art with us and we did mixed up faces. For this we had to pick a facial part of someone in this room with detail then we changed and drew a different part until we had a mixed up face.

8th June 2007

Yesterday was cross country. We all really enjoyed it. We have some people in room 11 that are going to interschool cross country. Every one did their best and we are so happy that people did it even though they did not want to : )

Click here to see our camp photos.

31st May 2007

We are doing our speeches now of health topics and they are really good.
We are going out everyday for training for cross country on the 7th June next week.

Students' work

Wednesday 24 October 2007

Thoughts on AG Day.

It was astonishing and great to get to know new people. Our family cat came.Next year I will do better at the constuctions as I was a bit confused this year. Joshua Ridley.

Making flax folwers was fun and I got to make a fish out of flax.
Brock.

Next year I plan to make my creations faster as I only did two things. Jaime.

It was a great but I didn't like it when my kid wouldn't jump. Lily.

The day before was hectic, flowers everywhere, wild and wacky flower arrangements. Kayne.

Next year I hope I won't be a runner. Hannah.

It was a disaster, my cat ran away faster than the eye can see. Carrie.

It was fun fiddling with my arty, crafty stuff. Ari.

I really enjoyed looking at the animals. Next year I might bring my pet. Matthew .A.

I enjoyed watching the dogs on the obstacle course. Chris .W.

My invention is a recycling container with four different compartments such as tins, paper, glass and plastic. My invention is designed to make the recycling mans job alot easier. All he has to do is open a compartment flap on the bottem of that compartment and every thing inside that compartment will fall out. I thought about this idea because I always see the recycling man strugling to sort out all the bottles and stuff like that so I thought that this idea would help him, and make his job easier.

Samuel Burgess.
