How to play simple chords on the Guitar!

Hi, we are Lucille & Taryn and we are going to teach you some simple chords on the guitar. Enjoy! For this you need a guitar.

Step 1:

Hold the guitar with your left hand, put your right arm near the end of the guitar.

Like this.

Step 2:

Put your pointing finger in the second fret on the third string. Then put your middle finger second fret first string. Lastly put your ring finger in the third fret second string and strum. This is the chord D.

Step 3:

Put your pointing finger on the fourth string, second fret. Then put your middle finger on the second string, second fret. So now you have played the chord A7.

 

Step 4:

Put your middle finger on the sixth string, third fret. Put your pointing finger on the fifth string, second fret, and now put your ring finger on the first string, third fret. This is the chord G.
Tip: If you don't feel comfortable with putting your ring finger on the first string, third fret you can use your pinky.

Step 5:

Put your pointing finger third string first fret. Put your middle finger on the fidth string second fret. now put your ring finger on the fourth string second fret, now you have played the chord E.
